Feel free to contact the individual units for more information.
Continuing Education: Social Work
We are also pleased to offer two continuing education courses for intermediate and advanced post MSWs. One course focuses on work with children and families, while the other focuses on work with adults and couples. Each course will fulfill 20 credit hours towards the required 45 credit hours, required by the State of Michigan per each two-year cycle of licensure.
Each course is offered at our University of Michigan centers during the evening, and will be led by a senior staff member of the UM Psychological Clinic or UCCF. A maximum of 12 participants will be enrolled in each, promoting an atmosphere that encourages individual attention to the topics at hand. There will also be frequent guest lecturers from other senior staff from each clinic.
Course fees will be $425 for the fall which includes the course selected, and a participant course-pack. Winter course prices are as yet undetermined.
Online registration for the fall 2008 courses will open on July 3rd.
